Topped off my nitrogen tires today.

Only poors have regular air in their tires. Nitrogen FTW

It means your tires were already low, pre cold, dumbass. Jesus who raised you idiots?

I always check my air pressure once cold weather hits and adjust accordingly.
Try to inform my female friends and they reply with snarky responses. So I let them enjoy their empowerment.

Wanted to add....I’ve passed two empowered women trying to break the lug nuts loose on a flat. You’re so strong....except you couldn’t.

There is nothing unusual about this. When it gets cold the tire pressure drops when the tires are cold. Mine dropped 4 pounds this morning from where they normally have been while it’s been warm. My vehicle shows me how much pressure I have in each tire. After I drove a little while all 4 tires heated back up to 35 PSI. The best thing to do is add 3 pounds of pressure over what the rating says when the tires are warm from driving so that when your tires are cold in say the morning from not driving they are sitting at the right psi. If the place you put air in your tires is real close to your house where the tires are still cold just add 2 pounds over the suggested psi rating. You want your tire pressure to be exactly where it’s supposed to be when you haven’t driven the vehicle because again the more miles you drive the tires will heat up drastically.

Kum & Go has free air people, there's no excuse to be driving around with low PSI.
Or you can be a real alpha and own an air compressor

all you guys bragging about Nitrogen like you didn’t get your tires on sale at Costco

You check your tire pressure every morning?
Power windows too

I did on the first cool morning (upper 40s).
Aired them up and the light is still on...
Oh well.
I mentioned it earlier but some cars require you to reset them once you air them up, check your manual.

plugged my air compressor into the 12V port,
IMO every car should have a 12v compressor. They are cheap now and can save your arse. They are also convenient and often I will use them over firing up the 120v compressor if I just need a few pounds in a tire.

Some of you guys should take better care of your tires. I always look at mine and frequently put a gauge on them. Pretty simple to do.
My vehicle tells me exactly what the pressure is. And yes, this morning they were down to 26psi. Had to stop and fill 'em up.

I carry a 12v Compressor in my F-250. Damn truck needs 60psi Front/70psi Rear it rides like a tank.

I'll get around to it eventually. It starts notifying me at < 35 psi. That's not that low yet
I usually would hit up the Benny’s on Perkins for free air when I was in BR. I know, I know poor people's behavior
Not sure if this is still a thing.

My car tells me when the pressure is low so I have to risk it on cold mornings and pray it's just the cold
I feel like the tire pressure warning has a really low threshold for actually turning on. I've driven for multiple days on a pressure warning light and the car drove fine. When I put a gauge on the tires, the lowest one was at 29.

Yes. I started the car, plugged my air compressor into the 12V port, and spent ten minutes bringing them up to pressure while I listened to a couple of tunes.
Do you people not have basic car maintenance tools/skills?
Guess I have beyond basic as I fill mine out of a real compressor in about 30 seconds.

Yeah that didn't happen, the Wells Report clearly states temperatures don't affect pressure.

I love the cooler air but this gets me every time
Funny, sensor lit up on my Saab 9-7x this morning, so I need to go ahead & pull out the air compressor today...
