I'm not off at all but still do get paid. However, the TN Supreme Court shut down all non-emergency and constitutionally protected court hearings, so there won't be a whole lotta work done the next few weeks.

Nope. Louisiana Dept of Health came out with a statement advising all elective surgeries be canceled. My surgery center is still open

Not yet. Was actually off Friday/Saturday taking sick days, and I’ve already had just about enough of hanging around here with the wife and kiddos.
Would never admit this to Ms. FCP, but I’m kinda looking forward to getting in that work truck on Monday AM if I’m feeling up to it. It’s damn quiet working up on top of those telephone poles.

Really? With all the cases in LA I’m surprised.
I know all public schools are off for the next month. Same for the private schools in St Tammany. They may all be different but I know they’re all off at least next week.

NO... We have to work to fund everyone else’s income, including our own. There’s no magic money that appears out of nowhere to fund the company/. People have to work because the financial institutions still expect payments to be made on people’s mortgages, and vehicles, and power, water, cable, as well as grocery stores who still charge money for stuff like food that is required for human beings to remain alive.

Everything I had scheduled has been canceled. I will be home. My wife is a Disney employee and has been deemed essential.
She has 9 people in her work room. 3 have to come in. 6 are off, with the same pay.

That's the breaks. Sometimes things go my way and make a boatload of money. I chose not to take a steady income, so I can't complain too much. I sucks for the subcontractors that work for me, though. Some of them turned down other work for projects that aren't going to happen now.

Gotta go on Monday and Thursday. We’re on a 3 day cycle to have a PM in the office everyday. Other days I will be from home. Got a feeling they may make it everyday.
