A/P manager told me to clear my office-line voice mail so she could leave me a message.
I told her "no, send an email, it goes to my cell, i have too many places to check messages".
"What if someone wants to leave an important message?"
"They will call back, or they will send me an email."
She jumps up, livid, heads straight to the Pres office. I follow.
I won that day. Voice mail full, all messages go to email.
Few months later, the Pres wants to leave me message.
Cleared my voice mail.
I told her "no, send an email, it goes to my cell, i have too many places to check messages".
"What if someone wants to leave an important message?"

I got one of those "you're distracting and frustrating me" emails recently because of my computer usage during a diversity talk. Frustrating you? Seriously? I get it's an important topic, but mind your own business and get a life.

I supervise almost all women so I'm the one that deals with bullshite tattling......it's incessant and almost never productive in anyway. I usually just zone out while they bitch, say I'll look into it and forget about it totally.
