I got a spam call from Clemson yesterday. I bet they are looking for their lost mojo.

Lots for the last several days. I haven't answered any though. One left a message.

I have been getting so many spam calls recently. One time I told a guy who called off and he flipped out and started calling me a lot and gave me a nasty message. Didn't like that I was calling him out.

Not recently. Maybe they got tired of being trolled.

I found that the robocalls respond to "Hello". So if you have a work phone that you get lots of legit unknown numbers it's best to answer "This is [name]". When no one responds for a few seconds you hang up and block that bitch. It doesn't really save you much besides and earful of shite, but that's worth it to me.

I always answer potential robocalls by saying Speak! just in case I'm being recorded. Then if they say something I yell at them Name and Affiliation!

I don't want my voice being played back for people to steal my info.

Or wait 4-5 seconds before saying anything. A live caller will wait or will say something first.

Problem is the scammers will just call again later. Only way to stop that would be to play the disconnected number tone, and in that case they might start spoofing your number instead of deleting it.

I like to troll them and waste their time.
