This thread should get better and better as the night wears on

I think booze is properly rated.

Then don’t drink. Why are you even asking this question? You’re an adult. Do what you want to do.

You can drink without going for a buzz or being drunk.

Have you tried properly pairing it with meals?

To quote Roger Sterling:

quote:

You don't know how to drink. Your whole generation, you drink for the wrong reasons. My generation, we drink because it's good, because it feels better than unbuttoning your collar, because we deserve it. We drink, because it's what men do.

Just disregard the word “generation” because we’re around the same age

Sometimes mixing beer with Vicodin, although stupid, relieves the morning after effect. Whatever is still lingering is easily cured with another Vicodin in the morning. This was my experience though, thankfully I’ve kicked all that but beer. Hard to not have anything though.

It always has been, always will be, but regretfully, I still like it.

Edibles. Gives you same feeling of being drunk without the hangover. Plus it only lasts about 5-6 hrs.

Absolutely. I've thought for awhile that it's a little too socially acceptable. Negative far outweigh the fun you can have or the feeling it gives you.

I mean everyone should try it/get drunk once but people need to drastically reduce how much they drink in general in the USA.

Sounds like you need an old lady to put a whip to you.

Nope alittle drunk tonight and having a good time better question is why do you have to ask a message board what is good and bad in you life a man knows. Go with your gut and don’t apologize for being you.

Yeah, but I’m an alcoholic in recovery so I don’t really have a say in the matter

I like whiskey but it's inferior to weed because I can get completely trashed on bong rips and be sober enough to drive in a few hours and no hangover.

If I drank until I was dizzy I'd be useless for the rest of that day and probably part of the next.

Have never been much of a drinker and I grew up in the 60s. Never enjoyed warm beer and the hot beer we got in Vietnam was putrid — drank maybe two in that year.

Always just a social drinker. In my 20s and early 30s me and my wife liked to get drunk at Christmas time and at a night out at Pat O’Bryans piano bar. In my mid 30s I developed a severe intolerance to alcohol which made me flush badly with stomach upset and palpitations. Gave it up and never really missed it for about 35 years. (Opiates were much nicer and forgiving.)

Oddly, now I can again drink a Michellob Ultra without problem and enjoy one about once a month. Maybe because Ultra is the water of beers.

To me, alcohol is a non factor in life. Maybe I’ll become a weed head in old age but ... I’ve never smoked in my life and won’t start now. How are edibles???
