I agree. I’ve come to hate drinking more than 1-2 beers because it makes me feel fat as frick and full

You and your vasectomized sac are in the key demographic for hard seltzer.

I miss the days when real men drank Four Lokos and the proud drank Zimas and B&J coolers.

It took me until my 40's and having a child to feel that way.

I haven't completely stopped drinking but my consumption from where I was even 3 years ago is down by 75%. From 10 years ago it's probably down 95%.

I used to buy Tito's by the half gallon and wine by the case a couple of times a month. Now I buy Tito's by the 750 and wine by the case once every couple of months. I can't even recall the last time I bought a case of beer. I usually just buy sixers now.

I know a guy who's 75 year old father drank through college and mid 20s then quit drinking almost totally for 40 years. Not for alcoholic reasons or anything, just got tired of it and didn't want it being a part of his life anymore. Around age 67 started again. Got a DUI at 73.

Drinking just to drink? Very overrated.

Most drinks, very overrated.

I only care for coffee flavored stouts and porters...and an Irish coffee from time to time.

Hank Williams Jr said it best...

The hangovers hurt more than they used to
And cornbread and ice tea took the place
Of pills and ninety proof
And it seems like none of us do things quite like we used to do
And nobody wants to get high on the town
And all my rowdy friends have settled down

I like a couple of beers at the end of the day when I’m relaxing watching TV before bed.

I’m hate hangovers tho so limit it to two.

I can’t day drink. I’d rather go be productive with my days and the few times in my youth when people wanted to ‘day drink’ or go to breweries and hang out, it sucked. 5-6:00pm comes and it’s either keep drinking and have a hangover the next day or go to bed before dark.

I’ve essentially given up beer. I used to drink 2-3 6-packs a week of various craft beers. I don’t dislike it. I’ve just gone away from it. In the past 4 months, I’d say I’ve had 12 beers total.

Bourbon, on the other hand, I love that shite. I’ll drink 3-4 ounces neat a couple of times a week, but I never get drunk. My body just doesn’t handle it well.

Im in my mid 30's and I barely drink at all anymore. There are many reasons for it but those you mention are near the top of the list. I have to be so focused at work. Not to mention toddlers around the house don't mix well with feeling like shite. If I'm going to drink now, I have to have a clear path to relaxation that I can be fairly certain will not get interrupted.

Rarely drink it anymore. I’m talking like maybe 2-3 occasions a year.

Got it out of my system on a Euro study abroad to Belgium and The Netherlands. Became a beer snob. Expensive tastes make it easier to forget about.

No shame in saying I drink for taste as well. If it tastes like piss water, I’m definitely not touching the shite.

These days I’ll have a cider if anything. Bourbon or Scotch for special occasions.

Alcohol is a vicious whore. I've kicked both pain killers and cocaine. Haven't done either in three years. But man booze is a different beast. In my case at least.

That’s cool man. I just find it to be overrated. Maybe i just don’t find the buzz to be all that great.
