Here lately i've had more and more people end their conversations with we'll see ya, even though its just the two of us talking. Who is the we? Why would they say this? Makes me think they're schizophrenic. Anyone else hear people say this?

Maybe you should correct them. You won’t sound weird at all.

Yes, but if somebody starts a sentence with "here lately" I give them the People's Eyebrow

The other day I came out of a 7/11 and a black gentleman had a couple large drinks in his hand. I said “woah! Big gulps huh? Alright, welp... see ya later”

And that was that.

It really depends on the conversation, who it's with and what it's about.

I am sure I have heard it before. If I am going to someone's house or going meet some people somewhere and they give me a call while on the way, I could understand them saying "well see ya in a bit" or some derivative of that.

Why?

I hear it all the time. Mostly, when I say it.

We'll see ya!

Maybe they have an imaginary friend that accompanied them for moral support to chat with you because you are such a difficult person.

Everybody knows that is swinger's lingo inviting you and your woman to a session. Can't believe you missed that.

OK. I just totally made that up.
