Target's private label Sport Soap used to smell better, and make more suds than Old Spice Pure Sport. Came in a white bottle with a green top.

I shop at Target to get toiletries, underwear , basic lounge clothes around the house. Pricess are a little more than Walmart, and that is why it's so awesome. If weeds out all the "people of wal mart" looking to save every penny, and opens the door to those who value their overall shopping experience in peace and being easy on the eyes.
I rarely see a fattie in that store.
The people who work there seem to have had earned an Associate degree. I think that perception helps them as well. It's well organized and simplified.

Target is 85% female shoppers (using their facts) and it is marketed as such. They make up their own ad events and avoid the traditional holiday ad events. That way they do not share with all other chains competing for same space.
They made an awful political based decision and are paying for it deeply. Check for yourself.

Target is value versus discount. They like to be first when their suppliers release new products and will pay dearly for it.

Target is great but the one on siegen hasn't cleaned their bathroom since Obama was president. It looks like a rest area in there.

Target has less trashy people in it compared to Wal-Mart. I never noticed until I started going to Target because it was closer to my home.
