Yep. Great way to lose a quick 2 or 3 pounds

At my age, every 5 years. Wife has one scheduled next week and she's dreading the prep.
The prep....sucks

Your insurance recommends one every 10 years under age 55 and will usually cover it.
I'm due
The worst part is drinking that stuff the night before and shitting your brains out for 2-3 hours.
They knock you out for the event

I'm of age to get one but won't.
WBRZ has been doing a series on it
I think they said if caught early 95% curable with surgery only
Dealing with prep is worth it if it saves your life

Had one and they found a cancerous polyp. Had surgery 1 month later to remove part of my colon. 1 day of fasting and crapping is worth the trouble to be sure you do not cancer. Do not put if off

Good luck Neville. I've still got my port. I set off alarms in every store I walk into. Stay strong

What are symptoms for someone who would need this under age 50, or 40 for that matter.
I ask, because I am like clockwork. Sometimes I go immediately after I eat. I am guilty of sitting on the John longer than I should, but whatever works, yeah?

Worse part to me is being so filled with water and the prep I thought I was going to drown. Another cupfull and I think I would have.

Got 2 at 35 years old. Caught a large polyp on the second. Due for another a year from now.

Easier than the doc shoving a finger up your rectum, for sure.

Humana just called me. I am 67 and never have been checked. They are sending me a kit to scrape crap and put it in a tub and ship it to them to check for stuff. Sounds a lot easier, lol.

Atvwhat age did you get one?
Had mine along with an upper endoscopy back in January. I’m 51. Got a clean bill of health, don’t have to go back for 10 years.
The prep sucked, but it was the best nap ever. I wanted to hire the anesthetist to come home with me and put me under every night.

I read that title as "colostomy".
