That's when I did.. The prep is worse than the procedure. I wish they'd given me some propofol to go.

I'm of age to get one but won't. My buddy just had one and all the stuff he had to go through is too much of a bother. If the doc wants me cleaned out a 12 pack of PBR should do.

There is that new test now that you ship a terd off and lab test it. Forget what it's called tho. I'm thinking about doing that.

Hope you reconsider. The prep isn't fun but the new formulations allow you to choke down a not less volume of it now.

I can tell you the date of my 'scopy: December 7, 2009. I know this because the Saints-Redskins game (with the Robert Meachem strip & score just before the half; gawd, what a play) was the day I did my prep.

I got one in 2015 @ 41, as I have a family history. They found a two inch polyp.
I am getting another one in 3 weeks. I expect to get them every 1-3 years for the rest of my life. Sorta sucks but at least I had it done.

Dying of arse cancer would be about 1000x worse than anything even close to a colonoscopy. Hope you reconsider your decision.

Had one at age 29. Didnt find anything. Still shite a lot.

Had one at 30 due to family history and was having some problems. Flushable wipes are crucial for the prep the night before. Get a good book or a fully charged iPad.

While I was 50 last year. Doc found irregular looking appendix. Did another one six months later, and it was worse. I am now recovering from an appendectomy. They found pre-cancer cells in my appendix that are now totally gone.
Saved my life.

Had first one at 19.
Then another at 25 and found out I had Crohn's Disease.
Don't mind them outside of the "prep".
Actually like getting put under. Damn good nap.

I have a family history of cancer but not colon/prostate

I dreaded doing one and put it off 5 years. Then my primary bullied me into it. Prep wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Felt good to be all cleaned out. Procedure was nothing. IWDIA

Colon cancer @ 47. Never sick before. 6 months after my mother died. No colon no bladder no nothing down there anymore...
I don't think anyone should worry bout the prep when I'm the alternative
