Never owned ones. Friend who had swinger parents had one so maybe that is what they were used for.

If I am guessing, Darth is the most likely to still have one.

They definitely made a big splash back in the day.

If you've ever tried to have sex on a waterbed, you know that is not what they were made for.

My experience was you sleep too warm between the heated bed itself and the non-breathable surface.

Maybe things have changed this was when I was a kid.

Had one from middle schools on.

My parents keep it in pristine condition in my old room and perfectly kept at the right temperature. The roughly 2 nights a year I sleep there are heaven.

In the 1979s, if you owned a Trans Am, had a mustache, and owned a waterbed, then you most lIkely were very successful with the ladies.

Owned one until I moved into an apartment on the second floor of a complex earlier this year. Just wasn't worth the hassle of trying to go up a flight of stairs with it. Plus, I'd be afraid of the floor giving in if it ever sprang a major leak. Best thing ever for my back though. I loved it when I had it.

I've read 10 articles that say waterbeds are great for helping back pain and 10 that say it's the worst for someone with a bad back.

Which is it??

Did you think about emptying it before going up the stairs?

This...you don’t move it around full right? No way...also, id think someone would have come up with a different liquid for them now that’s maybe a little more viscous? So it’s still moves but not as much? I can’t imagine sleeping with someone else on the bed and riding the wave anytime they move but it’s been 20 years since I’ve been on one.

I'm still sleeping with my wife on the full motion waterbed I bought at Southern Comfort Waterbeds on Florida Boulevard in 1978. The heat and firmness is adjustable. A matress pad let's it breathe under you.

Had one in my apartment at LSU and more than once talked girls into coming back to try it out. Well worth the investment.

So, that was about 9-8 years for you, right?

Just kidding, I know nothing about your scholastic achievements or lack thereof.
