I once had the feral cat piss smelling lady sit behind me while waiting for whatever-the-frick they were talking about to move along. She got dismissed once the lady next to her reported to the officer that she had defecated on herself. She appeared to be more upset about being removed than pooping herself.

Was the jury foreman in a week long second degree murder trial. We convicted him to life at Angola without chance of parole.

During the trial one of the jury members received a FB friend request. She accepted the request then got a message from the person that simply said "vote to acquit". Turns out it was the accused's family that was watching the trial trying to tamper with the jury

My wife served on a murder trial last year that was pretty unnerving. Man killed his girlfriend and injured 4 of his children. They were not allowed to vote for the death penalty because his IQ was too low. He got life without parole.

She said some of the photos that were shown to the jury were really graphic.

I was on a jury for an assault charge. A guy beat the shite out of another guy with a tire iron. They were fighting over a married woman lol. The guy kinda deserved it though imo, but he was guilty. I think he did 6 months in jail.

Bad guy pulls a pistol and robs a convenience store. He was not wearing a mask and stared at the camera and asked the clerk what that red light was.

Clerk just shook her head and gave him the fifty or so dollars in the register. He was arrested soon after. We found him guilty and he was off to the big house.

Two time felon gets pulled over because a tail light is out. His insurance card is out of date, so officer is trying to verify when a tow truck driver also stops. It's taking awhile, so a state trooper pulls over to check on the situation.

Felon jumps out of his truck, runs across 4 lanes of traffic with the officer, trooper & tow truck driver giving chase. Felon is tackled and when he's pulled up off of the ground, there's a handgun beneath him.

His lawyer asked us to believe the felon wasn't in possession of a firearm, that the guy just happened to fall on top of an abandoned gun.

First vote, all but one lady says guilty. She'd slept through two days of testimony (I sat behind her, so I saw her nodding off) and made us convince her. It was almost like an episode of Murder She Wrote (without a death), but finally we sent the doofus back to prison.

My dad tells this one. A guy tried to get out of jury duty by saying, "everybody knows I'm wishy washy, judge." Didn't work.

chosen to serve as one of the 12. After judge metioned to the whole room to address her if anyone had an issue, Had told the judge at lunch that I was the sole provider for my children and had taken a week off to go to the FL keys for vacation the next day. Somehow I got chosen, had to go sit in the juror box and got called to the bench twice to be grilled about my situation. I told them I don't have another option as I'm a single dad and I have them for the week. Eventually they called me up and released me. I got the hell out of that room as fast as I could.

Looking back, felt I should have been more blunt as in, "you can put me on the jury but i'll not have any one to watch my kids, both under 12 at the time, and i won't be here"

Baw was making a booty call after drinking all day watching UT football game. Got pulled over for DUI. Refused to take the test.

DA showed dashcam video of the guy and he couldn't stand up. Defense claimed it's was rocky ground. He was the only one having trouble standing.

We spent less than 5 minutes in the room.

Was in on a jury selection part in LP for a black guy that was charged with possession and intent to distribute and also had a firearm on him. Remember the guy walking inane looking over all of us and loudly saying Ah F*** MAN! Sucks for him but it was nothing but whitey in the entire room. Judge asked him to repeat it again and the guy starts talking to his lawyer about pleading out. Nothing special but I always laugh when I see his face and that piece of shite knows he ain’t going free.
