No because I live in Texas where we have actual public schools we can send our children to.

Probably the most cringe "don't stop my ability to groom/molest little children" respond possible.

If not being able to accept the world of gays/trannies makes kids a turd in your eyes, then a parent did their job. Being able to trust that your kids friends parents are on the same page as you is your job as a parent. Ie...if you don't want your child drinking coffee, you'd hope a friends parents that disrespects your wish and takes them for the mega latte each time they come over. Same goes with you hoping/trusting they aren't cussing or letting them watch things they shouldn't.

This will make them better overall as adults and that's more important than caring about your rainbow power.

I’m going to go sit through an hour class about not touching kids because you weird motherfrickers couldn’t stop touching kids and having Church hierarchy hide and/ or cover it up.

Do you really think they have adult volunteers working with children attend those trainings just for the priests' sake?

It’s really mind-boggling when you think about it that there was so much child sex abuse in this organization

Not defending it, because it's still wrong and gross, but the vast majority of the molestation claims were gay male teenagers and gay male priests.

The idea that there was a bunch of elementary school kid diddling was mostly wrong. (there should be zero, of course)

Well, you might consider Episcopal Schools, where you can find...

Download here: LINK

Or maybe United Methodist Church (UMC), where you can find... LINK

I had to submit to a background check just for volunteer work that might occasionally put me in the same room as a minor accompanied by a parent.

They're serious about preventing any further issues.

Screw the catholics, and I'm catholic. Screw the young female pedofile teachers, even though it's hot.
My kids are grown. If they were still is school, it would be home school set in a nuclear family setting. Everything public and private education is tainted with poison.

Yeah... self-discipline, self-denial, and obeyance to a higher power are a bitch. Nobody gonna tell me what to do. Now get out the way and let me watch my porn channel. There's nothing wrong with it - because I said so. I have free will, therefore...

How many kids?

I graduated from St Thomas More in the late 90s. Tuition was $3200.

I’ve done the diocese crap and the Boy Scout crap. There’s 2 things to take from it: (1) It’s all to cover their arse in lawsuits (2) The reason we have to do it is because somebody did that sick shite Just do it and be done with it. Don’t be that loser dad who complains about how ridiculous it is.

This and remember the rules are there to protect you from false allegations just as much as it is "protect" the kids.

And have salaries gone up at the same click?

Sounds like you are telling me that a family in the late 90s that make $60K would need to be up over $200K for the same budget percentage.

Those online cert classes like SAFE are so lame. Asks questions like “should a grown adult be asking a child To have a sleep-over since the adult is the child’s teacher/coach? Answer yes or no”.

Quiz:

When a new priest gets brought in from another Parish, do you:

A) assume he's done such a great job from where he came that he's getting a promotion?; or

B) shield your child from all contact and assume he was transferred becuase he's a serial molester who is being shielded from liability by the people who should be protecting your children?
