Any of you guys experience any sexual dysfunction after taking antidepressants?

I got off of Effexor a few weeks ago, and it has been hard to become aroused and maintain an erection for sex. Effexor works on serotonin and nophenhidrine.
I had my testosterone tested twice and it came back normal according to the parameters that they use nowadays, so my doctor doesn’t want to do testosterone therapy. They want me to wait a few more weeks and see if the issue resolves itself since I just recently got off of the Effexor.
I’ve been reading up on it and it looks like low dopamine can lead to low libido and low ability to perform. There’s a different type of antidepressant called Wellbutrin that works on dopamine that I’m thinking about asking my doctor about.
Any of you guys any thoughts on what I should do? It’s taking a toll on my relationship with my fiancée because she’s blaming herself for it and thinking it’s her fault. (:

This would probably be best on Health/Fitness board but yes that is a common side effect of anti-depressants.

My wife was on Zoloft for a little while and it was bad enough that she weaned herself off after notifying her doctor. Sex drive totally disappeared until she stopped taking it, then it gradually got back to normal.

Was on Lexapro for a while years ago and had zero problems getting it up.
Was wearing the broads, and myself, out though. Would go for hours without blowing.
Definitely no such thing as a quicky on that stuff.

On Lexapro. Works fine. Went from really quick to kinda quick.

I was on Paxil for about three weeks in my early 30’s. I would get a raging hard-on, but couldn’t finish, no matter what. I was back to three thrusts to glory after being off of it for about a week.
