I've had McBrats and a cold beer in a wax paper cup in Germany. I was 12.

I was just thinking about what McDonald’s does in other countries to try to cater to the local tastes that are popular in those countries. Is the menu significantly different? Is the way the restaurant is designed much different?
The McDonald's in London is better quality IMO.
They call fries there chips.
Actually tasted like real meat on the burger I got. Maybe it was another kind of meat IDK but to me it tasted better.

They have a Croque Monsieur sandwich: grilled with ham and cheese
Also a couple different pastry deserts.
Back in 2015 they were ordering from the kiosks on poles like are in the US now. Plus some different sauces for burgers or fries.

All similar in my experience except in Fiji, where you can a beer with you meal.
In Innsbruck, the bathroom doors go to the floor. It made for a moment of privacy when refunding some Mcnuggets.
Paris had a three story one, Rome had marble everywhere, and Germany was the most efficient.
The Burger Kings in Budapest and Prague had huge patties (horse meat?).
In Australia, BK’s are called “Happy Jack’s.”
Lastly, the naval base in Bahrain had a Pizza Hut that served beer.

I cannot imagine a scenario where I traveled abroad and ate McDonalds. Maybe 20 years back, but even then—I hardly eat that shite stateside.

In Amsterdam they call it a Royale with Cheese.
No they dont.
I saw it with my own eyes, and here is the menu. In Dutch no less.
