If it was prescribed with the zinc, AB, etc, why not take it?
It has a long history of safety at normal does and your medical profession prescribed it for you but your still on TD asking for TD expert advice.
My non expert additional advice is don't lay up in a dark room. Go or sit outside and get some Vitamin D and let some fresh air an sunlight help kill the virus. Also please stay the hell away from people during your quarantine period. Try not to give it to somebody else.

She mentioned one class of steroid that was actually better than anything. I didn't catch the name. But she said: "Most steroids are in the xyz class. This one is in the abc class. Totally different chemistry and mode of action. And it is really working."

It was criminal of the liberals to politicize that drug and make it sound like some deadly medicine. It isn’t, and there was no harm in trying. And hell, if it makes y’all feel better to take it when you get infected, go ahead
But to immediately to dismiss this doctor and anyone else that simply says HCQ doesn’t appear to work and calling them dumb/looney etc etc is doing the exact same thing as the liberals did, you are politicizing the drug

Proven and promising treatment options:

Remdesivir. Proven to shorten the recovery time for people with COVID-19.
Convalescent plasma. People who have fully recovered from COVID-19 can donate blood. Your plasma may be able to be used to help others fight off the disease. FDA site on blood donations.

My boss took it and in 12 hours he was waaaaay better. It worked for him. He was in a bind.

My mom is in the hospital with Covid Pneumonia. Her primary care doc is a conservative and told us his results with HCQ were unremarkable, so he didn't prescribe it any longer. Her treatment at the hospital has been decadron and rocephin. She has responded very well and should be discharged this weekend.
On another note, it's a false negative covid test that got her in this mess. Had the initial test been positive, her treatment would have started 4 days earlier and probably would have avoided hospitalization. The false negative rate on the rapid test is ridiculous.

This is the key. It has to be used with the zinc, and taken early on when symptoms appear.
