Can't wait for my brother and his Wiccan wife to start talking about their rescue cane courso's are just like their children and should be let inside with my kids. That's usually when it hits the fan for us. I just fixed my first cocktail of the day...I'll give it till about 7p. Stay tuned OT...

In the morning I hang out with my wife and kids do the Christmas morning normal shite. Then I fry the turkeys and drink beer while watching football, I go inside to eat the back outside then we do gifts I'm back in for 30min the they clear out 75% of the people, then I clean up everything because I have a touch of OCD then the othe 25 % leave and the I hang out with my wife and kids again. I enjoy the family I just rather be busy or do something.

I pretty much hate my sister-in-law but foe the last 10 years have just done my best to avoid her family. I'm thinking maybe this year I just blow it all up and let loose.

I was that guy and did it one year, it was a culmination of a long series of bullshite events with my siblings. I finally hit my breaking point and flew off the handle. I had no one in my corner, even my wife was upset I did it right before Christmas. My point was, they continue to act the way they act because no one calls them on it. There was always an excuse, we're at a birthday party, it's Thanksgiving, it's Easter, etc.
It turned out to be one of the best things that's happened. We now structure our whole Christmas plans around not being with family, and making it about us and our children.
Other family members have since denounced the same siblings, I was just the pioneer.

It kicked off for me already. We drove in to BR and rented a nice little apartment in Spanish Town. My wife says “let’s take a walk and check out the cute neighborhood.”
OK says I so off we go.
It two blocks in and she’s oohing and aahing over all the quaint bungalow style house all decorated for Christmas. Then she says “When are we going to move?”
I say “when the timing is right. We have to consider interest rates, location, our jobs, it’s a lot”
She says “but WHEN? I don’t want to retire in the house we’re in now”
Now understand, our house is no OT mansion, but I’m proud of it. It’s 3000 square feet, 14 years old, in a nice neighborhood. Three car garage, three bedroom, two and a half bath, office, upscale appliances and stuff.
It’s nicer than where we both came from and I bought it with my own well earned money. And I have it set up just how I want it. So her statement feels like an attack.
So boom, we argue for the rest of the walk. Finally I say “is this really how you planned to start our Christmas vacation in BR? Your timing is perfect “
She realizes she’s flung shite at the fan and tries to back up and be sweet.
It’s been better since we got back from the walk but I don’t see me getting any tonight.
Merry Christmas fellas.
