Hillflint

I'm wondering about the quality of cashmere and if it is what I'm used to. Cashmere this cheap can't be great quality.

Why would anyone spend $225 to wear a sweater my wife’s grandfather wore back in the 50’s?

Take a closer look my man. It's a sweater and a great deal if it is half as soft as all of my other cashmere sweaters.

Do not have this sweater, though it appears to be of a lesser quality cashmere. Will not be lowering my standards for this product.

This is my exact concern. That's why I wanted anyone's opinion who may already own it. I'm sure someone has to here.

I got your mom one. All i can say is that it is tough to clean. Some stuff ran off your mom's face onto the cashmere, and the cashmere looked dingy after wiping everything off.

Sometimes I actually laugh at mom jokes, this one missed the mark entirely. Just wasn't funny, at all

Very comfortable. A very high quality, Mongolian cashmere. I handed out several this year to my driver and personal chef. Both have high praise...I would definitely get a few.

When I was a little girl in Panama, a rich American came to our town and he was wearing the softest most beautiful sweater. I said to him, "what do you call this most beautiful fabric?", and he said "they call it cashmere". I repeated the words "cashmere, cashmere". I asked if I could have it, and he said "No. Get away from me." Then he started walk away. But I grabbed onto his leg screaming for him to give me the sweater and he dragged me through the street. And then he kicked at me with the other foot and threw some change at me. Oh, but I didn't want the change. I wanted the cashmere.

Cashmere sweaters are great. But you're going to be paying $225 for what is likely low end cashmere and a sweater you will wear what, 2-3, times a year?

Just get a plain purple or gold/yellow cashmere sweater. That way you could wear it to LSU and non-LSU functions without worry. If you wore the one in the link to a non-LSU event people would just think you were trying to dress like a cheerleader from the 1950's and probably secretly think you're a buffoon.
