I don’t think Roswell has very many appealing neighborhoods though.

The area around Roswell park seems pretty awesome. However, most of Roswell is like the run of Airline Highway between Sherwood and Cedarcrest.

Ask your sister if she'd leave her bike on her porch, has security cameras, and don't walk alone at night, and you know, everything is fine and great just don't walk alone at night, don't leave anything on the porch, etc.

This is just stupid. It’s 2025 not 1990. I’ve lived intown for 20 years. Never had any issues not even a car break in. My neighborhood is like Mayberry and the demographics here are much better than anything you will find in shite holes like Gwinnett and even Cobb now. 98% of this forum couldn’t even afford to live in the city even if they wanted to. This doesn’t mean there aren’t nice places outside the city. North Fulton is great and places like Roswell, Alpharetta, Canton, Woodstock, and even Cumming have nice little city center type developments with great restaurants and retail etc.
If it were up to me I’d probably move to Jasper, Ellijay, or Blue Ridge but it’s a little early for that. You have to be a weak cuck to be scared of the city especially the Eastside neighborhoods.

Did anyone go? Were there any shootings and gang fights?

Yes, there was a vicious gang of milfs stealing all the Chardonnay and Xanax that they could get their hands on.

Basically the nicest parts of Roswell seem to be west of 400.

I think when most people in the city talk about Roswell they are referring to the historic area, Canton Street, or Azalea along the Chattahoochee. Holcomb Bridge gets a little rough in parts.

I currently live in Buckhead but we plan to move to Roswell close to the river. We like the city a lot, but there's no denying it does have more crime than the suburbs. We live in a nice neighborhood connected to a couple of trails and it seems like its a constant movement of homeless camps around various parts of the city. It wasn't a big deal when I was single, but with a 1 and 3 year old running around now, the suburbs offer a better quality of life. But ITP and OTP are both great depending on your needs.

A shame, too. What was once a decent area now looks ghetto and 3rd world. I drove down Old Hammond from Central area just to take a look. It was disgusting.

A couple of 24 year old blondes instigated a verbal melee over a spilled aperol spritz.

My step-daughter and her husband live in Roswell. I think it's pretty nice and we really enjoy Canton St. Great area to park, if yo can find a spot, and walk around. Cool vibe and nice area. Roswell over all seems clean from what I have seen, lots of shops and local things to do.

Just my .02
ETA: Her husband was somewhat a local celebrity on the radio back a few years ago. I have seen his name mentioned on here a few times.

That is way too many people for me in too small of a spot. I'm more of a "Still Kicking in Snellville" type of guy.

Born and raised in snellville.
It might as well be called something else entirely because how it is now compared to my childhood isn't even in the same universe. Wouldn't live there now if you gave me five million bucks

I don't have to ask her b/c I know the answers.

1.Yes
2. Yes(she lives in a townhouse complex)
3. She does walk alone at night.

Now GFY

Same here.

I fricking love Ellijay. Aside from Hiawassee it's my favorite town in the whole state.
