We had an Asian Carp jump into the boat and break a couple of rods in the spillway but that was about 60,000 pounds lighter than a humpback whale.

Humpbacks and pilot whales 120 miles out of Cocodrie. Not breaching but just swam up within 10 feet of the boat to look at us. Made me feel very small.

I agree. I assume the best out of people too.

That assumption has burned me on occasion, though.

That's amazing.

Saw a pod of pilot whales 80 miles out but never humpbacks.
