I slept last night for the first time with a CPAP on. I had the nose mask on. The nasal pillow and mouth/nose mask felt weird. It was for a sleep study. So I had all the wires attached to me. But I still seemed to sleep better than normal. I actually feel awake today.

I'm not sure if I posted earlier, but I have a CPAP, doing the nasal pillows. Didn't like the full face mask.
I've been on it for about 12 years now, and I sleep so much better with it than without it. I do not sleep very well without it.
I bought a travel one about 3 years ago, smaller, but not the smallest.

I just had a split sleep study done on the 21st of July and am waiting to get my results back. After my back surgery, I was hooked up to the heart rate monitors and oxygen and all that. Any time I fell asleep, the alarms would sound because my heart rate and my oxygen levels would drop below 50. I have a resting heart rate average of 46. My wife says I snore and sometimes will stop breathing. However, during the split study, they never came in to hook me up to the CPAP machine. So I don't know if that's good thing or not.
Edit: I also bought a fitbit and average about 13 times restless a night which explains all the tossing and turning that I do.

It's not that you're just getting sleep. You are getting deep rim sleep that really rejuvenates you. It really is a life changer.
Reggie White's passing made me look into the study.
My sleep study had me actually stop breathing over 300 times a night. You don't realize how tired you are because that's all you've ever known.

Anyone know how to get your baseline without doing the study?

Which is when your body produces free testosterone.. If you don't get into deep sleep, your body doesn't really have a chance to do it.

I hope they give me one. I always feel so tired when I wake up and it usually takes a coffee or energy drink to wake me up. Then throughout the day I just get real lethargic and don't feel like doing anything.
