Quit dipping Copenhagen LC after 15 years about 2 weeks ago. Started vaping, no shame

Was about to post exactly this. Vaping is expensive as frick so far but I'll never dip again. My teeth aren't messed up in any way but my gums started looking like the Louisiana coastline.

Skoal mint. Bout a can a day for 15 years. Started freaking out that I would get cancer and if I have cancer to myself I wouldn’t be able to live with myself so I quit cold turkey over 2 years ago.

I question people that don’t dip. Since Copenhagen is so good, i think that people who don’t aren’t allowed to by their wife. Pussies.

Well it’s cheaper for me. Costs $18 for a bottle of juice every week instead of $6 everyday (sometimes $12).

And I’m already down to 3 mg of nicotine. In a few weeks I’m gonna try 0 mg and then just have the vaping habit to get rid of

Been dipping for 27 years. Skoal fine cut, changed to Kodiak wintergreen, then grizzly wintergreen. I quit for a few months before so I guess I need to try it again.

I started dippin’ Copenhagen at age of 15, started during Summer football workouts. Couple years ago, my cardiologist told me to quit, change my diet, or face inevitable bypass surgery.

So, I quit, cold turkey. If consequences are relevant enough, it’s quite easy...

dipped for about 10 years. Switched over to Swedish snus about 2 years ago. I’ll buy a can of grizzly every 6 months. Swedish snus is a little more expensive but not loaded with sugar like the Camel.

I hate to break this to you but nobody really gives a shite what you think about them. And no, I don’t chew tobacco.

I do and have same mentality. Why do people care so much about other people’s problems? I’m willing to bet a lot of people here that dip got hooked at a young age in high school and haven’t been able to kick it yet. So op go f yourself and I’m willing to bet I’m better off than you for what it’s worth.

I’m in the same process of trying to quit. Didn’t realize it but cardiologist told me dipping was just as bad or worse than smoking. Smh I’m down to a can every few days now atleast.

About a can a day of Kodiak. Tried quitting several times but it's incredibly hard.
I have pain in my jaw too. It's not good.

Snuff, pipe tobacco, cigarette tobacco, cigars, no problem. Chewing tobacco = retching.

I got started with "Lancaster." Some red man and levi garret.

Then graduated later to Copenhagen Long Cut.

Chewing tobacco seemed much milder to me. Must sweeter, more syrupy, less nicotine.

Copenhagen was next level.

Glad I'm done with all of it.

Not gonna preach but if you're ever interested, this is how I quit:
Kill the Can

It's completely free and I've been quit for 1590 days today. It can seem corny and hokey but it worked for me and has worked for hundreds (maybe thousands) before and after me.

No patches, no gum, no bullshite. Just quitting.
