Now that it’s ubiquitously agreed upon that cigarettes are trashy and terrible for you when do the Baws get the message chewing tobacco is trashy? I see someone with a Skoal ring on their jeans I automatically discount anything they have to say unless it’s in reference to the trades.

My dad was a dipper until he was in his 50’s. He's college educated and speaks 4 languages

I hate to break this to you but nobody really gives a shite what you think about them.

And no, I don’t chew tobacco.

I do, and quite honestly I give absolutely zero fricks about your thoughts on my Skoal ring.

Unfortunately for half my life, 15-30 years old. Back when I was 18-20 and I truly embraced my white trash I would get new jeans, put a can in the back pocket, and use an iron to create a ring quickly. Now I’m working in outside sales that requires talking to a lot of folks and dip teeth wouldn’t be appreciated so I moved to pouches a few years ago? Is it trashy? Sure? Do I care? Maybe to the extent that I buy pouches but the only people who know I do it are the ones I openly do it in front of.

Dipped Kodiak and Grizzly Wintergreen for about a decade. Been off it for about 11 years.

Baws don't care if it's trashy and they care even less what you and spineless modern society thinks about them. We make our own way.

How did grizzly go from a bargain brand like Longhorn, to being a more prominent brand like Copenhagen/Skoal?

Skoal != chewing tobacco

I occasionally chew when fishing.

I like that too. As well as Copenhagen original snuff, it just gets all in my teeth.

Cheaper and just as good. I like grizzly and timberwood straight better than Skoal brands, but Copenhagen WG is as cheap and in prefer it over the rest.

You love it like an alcoholic loves a drink. It simply provides relief from withdrawals.

I "loved" it too(used the same). I just got fed up with it and quit cold turkey just over 4 years ago. It can be life changing--it was for me.

But just sitting here thinking about it, my mouth is watering. But there's probably no "just have one" for me.

Same but pouches. For some reason after 20yrs one day i just got tired of always picking it out of my teeth and whatnot

Pouches are a rip off money wise. I go through almost 2 cans a day
