Do you like your meat 3D printed too? I mean it’s the same composition as natural meat right?
Food and jewelry aren’t really analogous.

Lab grown diamonds are a cheap version of natural diamonds that no jeweler will buy or buy back, making it worth very little on resale market.
Real diamonds are worth very little on the resale market. If you're selling you've already lost

There is much better investment value in natural diamonds.
There is no real investment in natural diamonds.

Buy cheap lab grown, dont worry about resale.
Seems like a win/win.

Family diamond for the win.

I bought my fiancée a lab grown. She was the one who encouraged it. Diamonds are a fricking scam and you will never make any money back on it. I learned that the hard way with my previous engagement. If your girl really cares that much about it being real she’s probably a superficial bitch. Get a certificate written in the blood of the child who mined it as well so she really knows it’s a legit blood diamond.

Thanks. I’ll take this into consideration the next time I’m thinking about eating a diamond.

Mother in law (RIP Summer 2005) replaced diamonds in a necklace with lab grown. Diamonds kept in a safe, 25 or 30 1 ct each.

If she wants you to buy lab made boobies for her, she can have lab made diamonds.

This is what i did. Bought her a very nice pair of earrings for our 10th anniversary.

It’s the equivalent of buying a knockoff Rolex for $500. It looks like a Rolex, but there’s a reason it wasn’t 8k or more and has no true resale value.
The real sucker is the person who buys the lab diamond thinking it’s a bargain. Buy moissanite or CZ, no reason to pay a lot for something that won’t hold any value. Paying more for a better fake makes no sense.
As for not being able to tell, that’s false. If it was difficult to tell, they would be flooding the market with lab diamonds and mined diamond prices would collapse. I’ve even noticed a blue tint with lab grown.
This is all bullshite. Only reasons stores tell you they wont buy it back is because they're more invested in earth diamonds than lab diamonds. You either work at a jewelry store or you got lied too.

I have a lab grown 8 ct diamond bracelet and I can tell no visible difference in my comparable sized bracelet that is mined diamonds. I wear the lab grown bracelet daily and no one would know. The lab grown diamonds are marked from what I understand and there is no resale value. I decided the cost was worth it as I knew it would get almost daily wear and CZ dulls and scratches. There would be no trading up on a lab grown ring either. I would ask your potential bride would she want a bigger ring that is lab grown or a smaller diamond that is mined. Find a wholesaler to buy a diamond. Do not go to any chain jewelry stores.
