I would really love to understand how anyone with a reasonable education can be so dim on this issue. Please enlighten me. Thanks.

I really want to understand how yall keep thinking that shaming people will get them to come to your side? Seems like a pretty uneducated tactic to me

I had Civics in HS and watched numerous School House Rock videos so I understand how the process of creating a law works.

Define "anti-masker"

I think the mask mandates overreach, but also believe that masks do lessen the transmission.

BS holder.

Your in/from Austin, that explains everything.

Do you honestly believe anything other than a N95 mask is stopping Covid from being spread?

The problem is most people think anything covering their mouth stops it, so they get really close to others. This is worse. At least without the mask people try to stay away.

I wear my mask because I don’t generally care about things like this. I will say the way most people are likely using their mask, they’re probably getting a lot more illnesses than previously the longer this goes because they probably aren’t washing their mask regularly. So you have lots of funk building up getting transferred from your hands and environment.

Yes. I learned independence, you learned groupthink.

I have no issue with you wearing a mask. I an reasonable when a store or airline requires it.

I'm "woke" to the fact that what you're doing is a waste, unless you also wear gloves and change your mask every hour

I just believe in people being able to decide what they wear on their body. I don’t think that should be forced by the government. They should advise what should be done then leave it up to people/businesses to choose. I don’t believe in taking responsibility out of the hands of citizens just because you deem them not capable of handling that responsibility. Where does that end when applied to other laws? It’d probably be healthier if the US outlawed fast food, do you support that?

Yes I graduated from college back when a degree was something to earned. Now degrees in crappy majors taught by political professors are nothing more than participating trophies.

The go-to liberal shaming tactic.

You don't agree with me? You must be dumb and uneducated!!!

It helps promote that sense of self-righteousness, and makes them feel better about their authoritarian stances because "I'm smarter and it's for the greater good."

Also, makes their claiming of the moral high ground appear stronger.

TBH both sides do that, although with conservatives the insult is usually "emotional and illogical." In point of fact everybody is long on emotion and short on critical thinking these days.
