WTF happened to this board? It's like a digital nursing home these days.
Go live your life.

I have a few I’m sure. What’s weird is when I get a Facebook birthday notification for someone who I know has been dead for years.

Explain this Darth
When someone dies they can no longer delete their Facebook account. Facebook doesn’t delete dormant accounts.

My dad cell
My mom and dad landline
My aunt
A good friend I lost in a motorcycle accident
Probably a few passed clients that I lost over the years - I was in sales so at one time I had about 14,000 contacts in my phone.

I have a few.
I still text my little brother sometimes when I am sad and thinking of him. I hope the phone company never gives away his number. I will freak out if someone answers one of my texts.

I'm over 50 and I have over 50. I don't think I'll ever delete any of them. You?

Actually, many people begin to live their fullest and best life when friends die and they realize how short life can be. They treat people better and appreciate their family. Sometimes losing someone ignites you to live better in their honor.

I have a couple of coworkers in my phone. I also have a voicemail from one of them a few days before they found him that I have kept.

Just one, My dad. Mom died in the early 90s before smartphones and such.
I could not bring myself to delete it.

My sister has our mom still in her contacts , several months after her passing my sisters phone rings and it says mom calling, sister answered and of course no one was there.
