One of the top 5 most beautiful cities in the U.S. with the Franklin Mountains cutting the city in half.

I was told to stay off streets at dusk when I was there.

Pretty sure it wasn't a local who told you that.

I believe that it's the least hipster. If there's a "look" to people that shop at Walmart nearly everyone in El Paso looks like that. And it's a stretch to call it a "big city". It doesn't feel like a city at all.

I built a plasma center and the Harrell Nut Factory there. Big arse factory. Not a bad place. Not somewhere I would want to live though. And it gets cold as can be in winter.

I've been going out there for business with one of our industrial clients for 3 years now (probably 2-3 trips per year). Originally I hated the place, but it has grown on me. Definitely not at the top of the list of places I would want to live...but far from the bottom of that list as well.

There is no way El Paso, a border town, has the lowest crime rate in America. That is impossible. It's ridiculous to even ponder.

It's even more ridiculous to say it's the best city in America. I've been to New Mexico and literally lived in West Texas. There's no way a place in the middle of 3 hell holes could be even remotely good.

Just got back from a wedding out there. Rehearsal dinner at a very active Mexican restaurant and drinks were cheap at Whiskey Dick's (two beers and two mixed drinks = $12). Wedding at Butterfield Trail golf course, supposed to be top five public course in USA. Found good deals on boots and hats. But it's a looong way back to Little Rock. I would go back

The reason they have no hipsters in El Paso is probably because young people gtfo whenever they can.

Are there Hispanic hipsters? Because I recently spent a few days in El Paso and didn't see another white person aside from my wife and child.

It's a desert arse city in a crevice of the country. No thanks. Maybe I'm biased cause I got a speeding ticket almost every time I drove through there.

El Paso is fine for a couple days but I'd never want to live there.
