Did you even read the fricking story? A neighbor found the kid, but the dog wouldn't let him near him. The dog didn't save shite, all he did was hamper the effort. Kid probably got lost chasing after the dog in the first place.

But even if the story had actually gone as the headline makes it out, where a kid gets lost and the dog tracks him down and "saves" him, you have to wade through hundreds of attack stories to try to find a positive story. The risk/reward is WAY out of whack with these dogs.

That's because wild animals are afraid of people. Not only are these dogs used to being around people, but they have also had fear bred out of them and tenacity bred into them.
