Her LinkedIn indicates that she has not yet begun medical school, but just completed a 2 year post-baccalaureate program at Southern Illinois. Based on the program, it appears that it's a way for those who didn't have the grades, or the prerequisites, to get those requirements. Since her undergraduate degree was in Biology, I'm going to assume her grades were not satisfactory to enter the medical school of her choice.
