I really hate people like this. Not only are they ruining their own lives with heroin (good riddance), but now the children's too. The poor kids will just get shuffled through the system now and probably end up like their parents. :(

This seems like a situation where there's probably not a specific - or accurate! - statute on the books because who the hell would even think of that? From the article it says she was charged with "unlawful delivery of a controlled substance to a minor" which I cannot find in Washington's criminal code after a 10 second search. But it doesn't seem to convey the severity of what took place here.

Is it attempted murder to inject a 2 year old with heroin? I'd say yes.

Hopefully if a family that fostered those children them wanted to adopt them....the actions of the parents should make that pretty easy to happen.



The biological producers of those children(I can't call them parents because that implies they are decent humans) should have their parental rights stripped from them asap so the children have a slim shot of maybe finding a stable home environment.
