This IMO.
We had student teacher relationships when I was in school but there were no traceable text and no need to brag about it on social media. We spoke about that shite amongst each other in the locker room and that was it.

This thread begs the question- Given that girls mature faster than boys in adolescence and that generally females date slightly older males, why is it considered more creepy, perverted, and even more criminal if a 35 year old male teacher went after and banged a 17 year old female student? If anything it should be considered equal if not less.
