This dude is going to get caught real quick.
Don't be so sure. So far the inept Austin police department's only course of action has been to politely ask him to please turn himself in.

Yeah that's the only thing they've done...

I’ll ship you my old clothes instead. Too dangerous to go there.

My sister lived near there 15 years ago. That was close. She's safe.

They went from spending their time virtue signaling over calling it a hate crime after two bombings to asking him to please turn himself in. It appears they have too much bleeding heart in the department to be effective.

Yep, going to be caught soon, unless it’s Hillary Clinton....
Hoe convenient she fractured a wrist in India, giving her the perfect alibi.

Why do people keep talking about copy cats?
Is that actually a thing or just getting it from Law and Order?
Were copy cats running around shooting people out of cars right after the DC sniper?
Was the unabomber copycat a thing?
don't recall honestly.
Columbine inspired a lot of these school shooters and more.
Also with social media and media today, a lot more of stuff like this is brought to light compared to years ago. We don't see as much with bombers but a stunt like what is happening in Austin definitely could inspire people to want to do stuff like this
People see all the national attention focuses on them in these situations, non stop news reports on them and these crazy arse people live for it and look for a way to get it

Saying, it wasn't a bomb, but an incendiary device is quite muddled to the average person.

Be sure to write “Not a Bomb” on the package so he knows it’s safe to open.

If I lived in Austin and got a package that said “not a bomb” I’d flip shite.

Not to mention, reporting it creates awareness for folks to take precautions to remain safe, so there's just not much you can do in regards to copycat crimes.

It strikes me as a copy cat without bomb making skills or a prankster trying to cause chaos. I think it's unconfirmed but it was reported that this one was in a goodwill donation box.
Tx Attn Gen now saying not a Copy Cat.

50+ federal agents helping in Austin while a guy terrorizes the city and the reward for a tip leading to an arrest is only $115k.
Is that set by some statute?

Its a good and bad
Its good to report and let everyone be aware, I do think at times its a bit overkill and harped on, which is where my concern for copycats come in, not just from a standard news report . If that makes sense
