It has been preempted by the Great Gulf Coast Snowstorm of 2025.

Replied in another thread my wife used to work for Boyd when American Hot Rod was on tv. In 2006 we took 3 cars to Barrett Jackson, 2 of them were tv builds. 1st was the Max Hemi, built for Max Cohen who was a Make a Wish kid that wanted to build a hot rod. 2nd was a Bud Light build for the show. 3rd car was was for a long time client, car was the Led Zephyr.

Neither, just looking this year. I refuse to pay the extreme premium these vehicles command at this auction (buyer pays 10% and seller pays 8%) and because of the popularity of the auction and it being on TV buyers vastly overpay. I've purchased two vehicles shown at the auction off-property directly from the seller when they didn't meet the reserve and have saved thousands.

Very true and while Barrett-Jackson does their best to authenticate classic cars that come through, they don't have time, personnel and resources to check every small detail. They do not guarantee to the buyer what is being auctioned is in fact the real thing or correct equipment installed. They strongly advise buyers to do their own research and bid accordingly.
The scammers have gotten very good at misleading potential buyers with restamps, date codes and accompanying paperwork. If you are in the market for a classic car, be very careful and do your homework before you write that check.

Some Friday afternoon action. It was fairly crowded in some areas so hard to get in position to get good pics.
