For my parents it was JFK’s assassination. For me it’s 9/11.

Remember both
JFK - had day off from school for some reason, was playing outside.
Mom came yelling at the back porch door to come inside because the president had been shot.
She didn’t let me go back outside the rest of the day.

9/11 - was at work walking back to my office from the warehouse.

I’m watching a doc on NatGeo right now called “Giuliani’s 9/11.” Rudy was an impeccable example of leadership that day. He showed no fear.

I hope so. This is the first college Freshman class born after 9-11-01. If schools and parents did their job then they know the significance of taking a few moments to remember. If not they're probably spending the time scheming how to party this weekend.

If the Columbus Day federal holiday is reassigned to any date on the calendar, it should be assigned to today.

I'm going to resist the urge to compare him with the current holder of that office.

Watching 102 Minutes on History now and is be lying if I said it is affecting me deep inside. The only comfort is knowing they got that son of a bitch piece of shite and used his dead arse as shark food.

A picture taken 19yrs ago on this date.

You photo had to have been taken around 1986-87 (based on the construction of 7 WTC behind the Twin Towers).

More shots from around NYC. Really glad the SBA made this all possible after the Communist Mayor tried to cancel it.

I hadn't heard that it was going to happen. The last I heard that shite bag had called it off.

Great to see it!

DeBlasio actually didn’t call anything off
The Museum themselves (which is privately funded) said they didn’t want to do it this year due to the Chinese virus

Once that got out, others stepped in

First time I’ve seen the Hilton and NYU dorm videos.

Speechless. The girls screaming as the second plane hits is chilling.
