This is an interesting situation. The OT complains that people always apologize (ie Drew Brees) when they should stand their ground. Now someone is not apologizing and people are mad about that.
Is it that corporations only apologize to woke organizations?

This is an impressive post. It conflates individual opinions with those of a whole forum, claims there isn't an apology when there are now a half dozen half measures that are in the apology species, they just aren't good or effective. Finally, it cites an example that is the inverse situation from this one, where, again, it was the ineffective apology that caused the issue. Quite the gotcha attempt. If you insult your customers and you stand your ground, this is what happens.

This is a pretty damning statement. You don’t just manufacture bud light cans without AB knowing about it?

Yeah, where's the trademark infringement suit?

If true, it seems like AB should’ve said this at the outset.

It’s another to have Mulvaney do a promotion on Social Media.

Y’all basically are upset that Bd Light even tries to promote itself to Mulvaney’s audience.

You can’t say this is about bud trying to force anything on you.

They are flailing aimlessly because they actually understand the implications of what's happening here and it scares them to death.

"Bud Light drinkers don't use social media. They only watch live TV with commercials and shop in person."

Posts like this and the one being responded to are amazing to me. Bud Light defined its brand. It could be 1 or a million cans, it could be one or a million forums, it could be with or without knowledge. Their customers have decided they don't want to be identified with that brand anymore. You can make it about Drew Brees or apologies or in your face not in your face. That doesn't matter. Brands have images and if the image doesn't resonate or repulses, the academic exercise of message board gotchas doesn't matter.

A lot of the comments in the article were from a distributor, not AB CEO

Given you are in California, you probably see more tranny cans than most of us.

This is backlash for all the cancel culture bullshite. How many companies pulled ads from entertainers or dropped their shows or disavowed them when it turned out they made a rude joke on social media a decade ago when they were a teenager? Or repeated a rap lyric.

People are tired of the rules for thee but not for me bullshite.

You are responding to a dude that thought it was a good idea to constantly shoot meth into his arm and spent a lot of time in jail due to those bad decisions.
