You must not have followed the thread. There is a context to that response. I'm not saying that you can't hit a woman. I explicitly said that at the point where he engaged her it wasn't the best course of action at the time. He engaged her after she had disengaged. It was not about self defense at that point.

You clearly think differently, but using violence as a form of dispensing justice is the stuff of incompetent animals. The only valid use of violence is self defense. Being a hard arse who needs to defend his pride out in the real world is how you escalate situations to become more dangerous.

Ok TLDR but. Here goes.

FQ about 2006-7. A big dude and his big wife (think the "Sad Tenesseee Fan" meme. Are walking down between bourbon and Royal on a cross street. A car tears by about 40. The wife DID scream," slow down, bitch!" But the car had windows down so they slam on the breaks. Two LARGE black women (so I believe race was at play though no slurs were used) bail out and start screaming. "F--- You Bitch!" They start whipping arse. This poor guy is in a nightmare. He has obviously been brought up to never hit women. He fends these two women off for 2 minutes. During this time his wife is slapped and punched, knocked down twice, and was pulled to the ground by the hair. She is seated on the ground crying and turtling up. The two women circle and circle. Whole time the husband saying please stop, we don't want trouble.

This guy is the embodiement of a "Baw". About 5'9" and near 3 bills. He's done all he can for two minutes. I SAW THE CHANGE. A calm resolve came over him. His demeanor changed. And he set his feet. When he 3/4 turned left foot in front of right I told my wife "oh shite". The bitch in front of him was too stupid to see. She has both arm up and out reaching around him. He stepped through like a guy in a bar hitting that punch bag game. I've never seen a more flush shot to the mouth. His fist had to be the size of a small ham. He had mechanic forearms and hands. She went down like she got shot. Sat straight on her arse hard. The sound of her big arse in a tight dress hitting the sidewalk was like two cupped hands clapping.

She IMMEDIATELY began squalling. She was once again a woman. But too late. You were warned.

His face and her fist must have looked like a racquetball hitting a wall in super slow motion.


He was utterly justified. Threw ONE punch. Got his wife and hauled arse back to the hotel.
