A lot of practical knowledge gets shared on the OB.
Not the last few weekends, I was about 1.5 feet from stepping on a brown snake in NWLA coming back from the mailbox 2 Saturdays ago. Probably a dekay brown snake since it was small, narrow head and, like some of you guys's dates, just layed there.
Been watching my path a lot closer ever since. This house is literally built on the exact spot my deceased grandad saw the largest copperhead in his life as it snuck up to about 2 feet or less away from my ankles. It was being hunted by the largest king snake he ever saw too. The king went to the spot grandad killed the copperhead with a garden hoe and circled raising up and checking all directions with tongue and stuff, truly seemed disappointed to lose his prey (we were burning trash in a barrel and g'dad had tossed the dead one in). That king snake got to live with both our blessings!

No one has a felony hung on them for simple possession first offense. He was either dealing, or he had multiple arrests, or there was a gun involved, or violence, or he couldn't stay clean through the diversion program.

From Thur to Sat of this past week, I hunted with 5 different OB posters over 3 different locations in Louisiana and Mississippi. All of these people were met through the board.

Some others that come to mind are the training in Sunset for dogs to avoid snakes, the guy who has posters go to his place to learn to make pirogues. Definitely a great group there. Even bapple with his got dam youtube shite.
