UPDATE: An autopsy has been completed for Shermichael Ezeff, the man shot and killed by an East Baton Rouge sheriff's deputy earlier this week.

The East Baton Rouge Coroner confirms Ezeff died from a gunshot wound to his torso. The coroner tells WBRZ he also had a significant laceration to his elbow caused by a sharp object.

Multiple home burglaries were also reported in the area just before Ezeff stumbled upon the deputy.

Check back for updates.

As I said earlier, and is backed by witnesses cited by the Advocate, Shermichael was likely burglarizing apartments and once he was running away, he unexpectedly ran into the deputy then made up some bullshite about being stabbed. Something happened from here where he started fighting the deputy and he got popped.

Of course, Gravy and the white SJWs will say he was coming home from church when white KKK Trump supporters jumped him for being a black man in America.

Shermicahael probably cut himself on some glass while committing burglary / foraging for money to buy school supplies for college in the fall

The chances of BRPD reporting burglary calls on the same street (and at the same time) that witnesses said he was burglarizing apartments are slim to non, so I'd say there's a good chance ol' boy was up to no good in the neighborhood.

After consulting Facebook, I think you're 100% correct

Nah. It isn't relevant. It's you trying to make the person shot look less human. Idk what the situation was but his crime record doesn't justify the cop shooting him on its own.

Let me ask you this: if the guy was an engineering major at LSU or Southern, had no priors, and volunteered in the community, would you not think that to be relevant?

It would definitely make me more skeptical about the situation.

Bloody criminal shot by cop = likely
Innocent college kid shot by cop = not so likely.

Fellas, fellas, fellas...

I can't sit quietly any longer and watch this debate continue without bringing up the obvious pink elephant in this City.

As much as I absolutely hate to admit it, the burglary is irrelevant.

Think about it. They (BLM) were able to convince many that the ALTON STERLING shooting was unjustified. STERLING was without question armed (concealed), a convicted felon (child predator), and physically struggled with two officers after multiple other lower levels of force were attempted on camera. If they can spin that, this case is nothing for them.

STERLING is the standard; if the suspect is black and the officer is white the shooting is unjustified.

bullshite. I have several DWI convictions. If I die in a car accident by hitting a tree at 3:00 in the morning, I fully expect and deserve for peoples initial reaction to believe I was loaded. My past earns me that reputation. His past earns him the reputation of a violent criminal. It’s very relevant.

it doesn't mean you were loaded, though. Just like his criminal record doesn't mean he was acting in the wrong when he got shot. He probably was, but his past record can't convict him.

We need to let these poor folks get their lives back on track, right? What about the school shooters and whatnot? Do these fellas need to be ‘rehabilitated’ too?

All this amounts to is a huge waste of taxpayer dollars. Tax dollars pay for these low-income homes (that are undeserved by most who move into them), tax dollars pay for drawn out investigations and trials. It’s all such a waste.

Yes, let’s take down more statues. Let’s raze plantations. Let’s rename every street in the books to celebrate black heroes.

The fact is, Martin Luther King and any other respectable black civil rights leader would be so disappointed in the actions of his own race.

frick em. I'm glad he's dead rather than costing taxpayers to feed him in jail again.
