An honest fat thread

Ok. A non-COVID-19 thread but one on a fun topic laced in honesty.
The last few weeks I came to the conclusion that I have been bullshitting myself about the fatness.
At that time, 6’-2” and 245 lbs. while a strong lad and capable of trekking some mountain trails (to an extent), I always convinced myself that I was one of those BMI outliers......well, not anymore.
If I was an inside linebacker in my 20’s, ok. But I’m not. So. The weight and fat are now coming off.
Already down to 232 and targeting 210. Just say no to the fatness!

This would be a good time to practice water fasting. Especially to save on food. 24hr, 48hr, 72hr.

I don’t think so
Years ago I went from 292 to 232 and while I climbed to 255 for a brief time, i hover in the 240s.
I think I can make it stick.

I do fasting when my stomach acts up.
Clear liquids - 5 days before
Water - 2 days
I am actually pretty skilled at it......then I get hand to mouth disease.

Welcome to the party
I'm 6'2 250 atm, just started working with an RD to help me with some issues and with accountability. I've been as heavy as 363.

My wife had twins a month ago, we’ve been in a semi-quarantine since and I’ve lost 10 pounds not going out to eat.

accountability
The most important thing for me with nutrition. I can make it to train, can hold myself accountable. But nutrition can be hard, the cravings.

Im 6'3" 265 heaviest I've been was at 310. I don't care what most think besides my wife and kids. I've been down to 210 for a brief moment and everyone told me I looked anorexic. I believe 240 would be best for me.
Once you reach your goal the tough thing is to stay there and not go back to the old habits. Wish I was told that.
Good luck

Maybe based on their perception of you. We are roughly the same height. I think I'm 6'2 and 5/8ths or some shite. Currently weigh 225 but 210 is my goal. I'm 42 and wear 35" pants for reference.
