For comparison’s sake, here’s New Orleans:

I can’t imagine the traffic in Tokyo

My wife and I rented bikes in Tokyo. Man, you can’t just cut across streets as though you are in New Orleans. We had a hundred people scolding us.
I also had two guys in a sushi bar fuss at me for eating my sushi wrong. Apparently you aren’t supposed to dip your Nagiri rice in your soy sauce. You’re supposed to turn it over and only let the fish touch the sauce.
Very conforming people. That’s the way the Davos crowd wants us all to be.

Population is almost 8M. Population of Chicago, the 3rd largest city in the country, only 2.7M. Or Tokyo is 4 times the size of our 3rd largest city.

Metro is roughly 40 million.

I remember sailing into Yokosuka back in 2017. We took a chartered bus to our hotel which was on the other side of Tokyo Bay. It blew my mind how Tokyo just seemed to go on and on forever off to our left. I have never seen a city that big before in my life.

How many people you think were fricking that you would be able to see if walls were invisible.. in this picture?

Imagine how a traditional Japanese Sushi purist views obese Americans shoveling all you can eat buffet sushi down their gullets.
