Dudes whole account is him filming gambling with large bets. This is not unbelievable.
You’re probably right. But it’s still a rather accurate representation of what happens to the average gambler in a Casio. Namely how they come to the table with a stack of chips and end up leaving with no chips.

No it's not. Vegas Matt is the largest gambling streamer on YouTube. He gambles every single day and posts hour+ long videos. He mostly plays slots, but will play some blackjack and Baccarat.
He has always been honest about his wins and losses. Here is his video from yesterday. He hit $35.000+ twice on slots and still ended up $40,000 down. (You can watch his dollar total on the actual machine and follow that it isn't being edited to show an outcome like other youtubers do)

Doubling your bet after a loss is foolish. I do it sometimes, knowing it's foolish.

I laughed. And then I cried.

When I was in college many years ago I was taking a statistics course. We figured that if you played BlackJack by the "rules": you'd have roughly a 47% chance of winning each hand.
I love to play BlackJack. Use to go semi-often. Played small money. Mostly for entertainment. And because I'm cheap.
Some things I've learned.
1) Never play head-to-head with the dealer. I once threw $100 on a $10 table and lost 10 straight hands. lol
2) Always play on a table that is hand shuffled. Not at a table that is auto shuffled.
3) Always look for a Table that is low on chips. It means that table is "hot" and paying.
4) Never play with an idiot. Ya' know, the players that'll split 10s, etc
5) Always play by the "Rules" no matter how hard it is sometimes.
6) Know when to leave
7) I'm not so sure about that 47% lol
My FIL would swear up and down that the Casino would pay certain players to bounce around to tables that were "hot" and make incredibly stupid bets just to break the cycle. Then they'd go to a new table. I believe it!

He normally sticks to Resorts World, El Cortez, and Peppermill in Reno. He used to film at the Mirage before it closed.
MGM and Caesars are the two that don't really allow recording/streaming. But they own all the casinos that random people would know about like:
MGM:
MGM Grand Las Vegas
Mandalay Bay
Luxor
Excalibur
New York-New York
Caesars:
Caesars Palace
Flamingo
Harrahs
Horseshoe
Paris
Planet Hollywood

Correct. It doesn't really affect your odds, but it moves too fast and you can burn through money quickly.

Correct. Mainly for the reason above. You definitely don't want to play on one of those endless shoe table.

Irrelevant

Irrelevant. Poor play by the other players is just as likely to help you as it is to hurt you.

Yes. Zero variance unless you are counting.

My number one rule in blackjack is don’t play the dealer one on one. It always goes like that
His count wasn’t favorable to risk doubling down on 11 with a dealer showing a face card
He missed out on poker hands on the side bet too, should have been playing 50 a hand on that. I know I saw one flush he missed out on.
But regardless I would have gotten up and gone to another table after the first 3 hands

Please show how little you know. He shares all sorts of hands, wins and losses, good follow.

Table games and slots are retarded. No one would invest their money on something that is projected to lose money over the long run. But you put that “investment opportunity” in a CaSiNo with all the bells and whistles and all of a sudden making that “investment” is a “fun” experience.
Strange melt

Same thing happened to me when I turned 21 and went to laberge in BR. No one was at the blackjack table I walked up to it and 5 straight hands got dealt 3,4,5s while dealer had BJ after BJ and lost each one. Jokes on them, never gambled at a casino again ever since. They lost a customer on day 1 for a measly hundred dollars

He wasn't counting cards. Always double 11 against a 10, unless you are counting and the count is not favorable.

Side bets are for suckers. No serious blackjack player should be playing side bets.
