Unless your sinusitis is so bad that the mucus is growing Bacteria, then antibiotics won’t help.

Following because if I could find a place to buy it then I'd only go to the doctor for real illnesses. 99% of doctors make their money off of being the gatekeepers to Amox.
Maybe Mexico?
Maybe Mexico?

Take some Vitamin C, use a neti pot, and take some Ibuprofen. It’s that simple. It’s likely not even a sinus infection. You probably have a viral cold.
Thankfully doctors are becoming more receptive to not just throwing antibiotics at everything. So yeah. shite’s changed over the years.

amox doesn't help with your viral respiratory infection
Right, this dude has no idea if he has a viral or bacterial infection, yet knows that he needs an antibiotic

Welcome to 2023.
Does your employer offer Teledoc?
I know people that have googled the classic symptoms of chronic sinusitis and then called Teledoc and got meds. Stick to the symptoms and put on your best sickly voice.

2 things...first, I used to get a sinus infection every year. Took amoxicillin for the first sevral years and than a Zpack in the later years. yes it did seem to help, but I would still get a sinus infection every single year until one year I just didn't get any prescriptions and just gutted it out. Guess what? I haven't had one since.
Second, if you want the drugs, I suggest teledoc if your insurance allows for it.

I honestly don't even know why anyone would want to take amoxi unless you knew for a fact that you had a major bacterial infection... the constipation and upset stomach from amoxi is far worse than the "sickness" you are currently experiencing, I just don't understand people.

Just deal with it like an adult. Save the amox for kids who fkn need it with double ear infections and super bad infections

Well, you have a viral infection. Antibiotics don't work and taking them reduces your body's abilities to use antibodies when you have an actual bacterial infection
The doctors are giving you good advice.
That said, call your doctor back and ask for a prescription of Azelastine HCI 0.1% nasal spray. It will help clear up that sinus condition.
I was having the same issue. Went to my doctor. He gave me this prescription. I didn't get immediate results. I went to an ENT. He told me my doctor was doing the right thing
He was. It took awhile, but now I can sleep at night and have clear breathing and the massive phlegm has cleared up.

"sinusitis is so bad"
Yes, it is.
After chronic sinus for all my life and two surgeries later, I know what I need to not have to suffer for weeks.

I almost always have to take a probiotic at the same time to keep it from completely obliterating my gut too.
And if it’s viral, an antibiotic doesn’t do anything.
