Yeah but a doctorate in lesbian dance theory does nothing but add to the crippling debt. Nor does it offer a penny more than the $10/hr Starbucks job one has upon completion of the program.

Because fast-track Masters Degree programs are a dime a dozen and the academic rigor behind them is almost as low as it is for many Bachelor's Degrees now. A Masters in Elementary Education?

If the latter, I’m intrigued.

A lot of fluff though. I don’t really view my doctorate in physical therapy any higher than those with masters or even the old timers with bachelors. Just a little extra bullshite while in school and a lot of selling by the faculty.

Now if someone went and got a PhD in anatomy or a strenuous fellowship post grad that’d be more impressive to me.

I'm sure Harvard has one of these now. Advanced degrees, like bachelors are worthless in many fields.

Unfortunately, the number of Americans with an advanced degree that are not worth a shite (both degree and people) has doubled as well.

only because they are just making a career out of going to school for 20 years rather then actually going to work and doing something with those degrees.

and like others have said, degrees in social engineering studies and SJW PC fluff courses doesnt qualify you to do anything but flip burgers

Which means we’re losing blue collared industrial workers which is why there’s such a high demand in these fields

I wonder what consists of the "Professional Degrees" as they have stayed stagnant over the same time.

"Degree" =/= "educated".

Plenty of people come out of college dumber than when they entered.
