The American public estimates on average that 23% of Americans are gay or lesbian

This claim makes sense once the reader recognizes that 90%+ of all survey samples are that 18-22 yr old college student population...

PLUS it wasn't cool/hip/in to be gay back when I was in college.

Besides the bathroom deal, what have we really given up?

The ability to have an opinion other than "I love the gays so much I hope all my kids turn out gay! Hell, I might just suck a dick right now I love the gays so much. See what the fuss is all about" -that's one thing for sure.

I got called a bigot before for saying "let the gays get married, why should I care what they do? Free country"

The reasoning was: "Oh so you will let us get married? How magnanimous of you, bigot."

It is the current climate that if you aren't fighting for gay rights, you are somehow against them.

That's what we have given up - the right to not only have an opinion, but also to NOT have one without repercussions.

Houston is at least on the same level if not more so.

Most cities are going to be pretty diverse but some cities on the west coast (i.e. Portland) are white as shite

These estimates are many times higher than the 3.8% of the adult population who identified themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender in Gallup Daily tracking in the first four months of this year.

Even 3.8% seems higher than I would have guessed without actually looking up the numbers.

Unless your were on a cable news show or an internet forum, I doubt this happened.

I can't see this happening outside of tumblr or a women gender studies class.

People have gotten wrapped up in the worst of the SJW and create a strawman out of it. It's fairly easy to live your life without ever dealing with them

What have gay people made you sacrifice? What legislation that is homosexual related personally affects you?

I don't think you understand what a "right" is. Because you still have that right.

Quit being a pussy.

If you look at Craigslist it seems more like 73% are gay.

Never knew there were so many cocksuckers running around. And married men at that.

Why the hell are you in the gay dating section? Is there anything you want to tell us?

This is about the highest you will see. CDC puts it at less than two (about 1.8). But there are also some "I don't know" and "Refused to answer" and "Other" so who really knows. I would say even the most generous estimate is 5 percent or less.
