Everything about that video is awesome.
Those legendary Day on the Green concerts in the 70s were a little before my time unfortunately.
The guys in Lynyrd Skynyrd are great dudes. They've made some very thoughtful comments about using the Confederate flag in their show. And they were always fans of Neil Young; they were just taking a fun jab at him. Neil and the band have always been cool with each other.

Maybe in an alternate universe where Hendrix, Page, Clapton, Beck and yes even sloppy Kieth Richards didn't exist. If you doubt Richards just listen to Gimme Shelter.
That's just rock guitarists we haven't even broached the blues.
Allman was a top ten rock guitarist but definitely not top 5, where he is in the other half depends on how you rate Berry, Townshend, Van Halen, and Harrison.
Obviously IMO but it mirrors a lot of other opinion as well.

How much you want to bet on the percentage of people in those crowds that voted to make California into the way it is right now in 2019?
30%? 40%? 40%? 50%? 60%? Even 75%?
This video was in 1977 and California started going to shite in the 90s and it's a good bet quite a few people in this crowd were voting to make that happen.
