This is as dumb as the "Make America Great Again" slogan. America has been great for a while now. Given the choice, I want to live in 2016 America. The whole damn argument is ridiculous.

Oh No! She didnt make that hat. Someone made it for her. PLUS Michelle Obama said in front of God and everybody that "This is the first time that Ive ever been proud of my country". So lets not pretend that this is not the attitude for a huge majority of the black community because it is.

I can't speak for Michelle Obama, but I have the same stance as Eddie Griffin. I'm staying right here in America where I can get a bucket of chicken for $3.95.

I'm shocked a girl like her even has a job.

ETA just noticed her name is spelled like the hamburger joint and a black caricature drawn on her apron.

2016 American politics are more about hating the other guy than liking what your guy/girl can do for the country.

This is why we have such a large number of independents registered to vote.

The opinions of people who work at places like Home Depot mean nothing to me.

I wouldn't have even noticed her hat I bet. But now that I have I'd like to slap it off her fricking head. I feel like my grandfather and father would have wanted me to, and that enough reasoning for me.

Can I stop giving her attention AFTER I slap the frick out of her?

There is no black community.

A myriad of us have also served this country precisely because we think it's pretty damn great. Myself and both of my parents included.

Yep.

Not only are both idiotic, but neither should have any place worn by an employee of a major chain store...and I'm sure the employer would feel the same way regardless of which stupid message it was.

That being said...you and I both know our audience here. If this same chick were wearing a MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN cap, she'd be currently the talk of the PoliBoard as poster after poster hailed her as awesome in the sticky thread about how great she was. Kind of like how all entertainers are fricking morons when they delve into political or social speech, unless they are talking positively about religion (the good kind) or conservatism in general. Then...not so much.

Most people who claim to be African American have never been to Africa.
