Half of the functional, professional folks I know rail lines, and all of the nonfunctional degenerates I know also do. By far the most widely used drug around here, sans the legal weed.

You'll probably see an increase in methamphetamine cases soon. There's some kind of national Adderall shortage going on right now.

There's a big Adderall shortage right now. So many people (soccer moms) on it, they can't make it quickly enough.

Current shortages Expected shortage dates
Methylphenidate-Teva XR 36 mg tablet Resolved
Methylphenidate-Teva XR 54 mg tablet 30 September 2024 to 31 December 2025
Ritalin LA 10 mg capsule 24 April to 31 December 2025
Ritalin LA 20 mg capsule 28 July to 31 December 2025

The two main factors that have combined include an increasing demand for these medications and federal limits to supply. The pandemic-related changes to how ADHD medication can be prescribed has had an effect too.

Feds limiting supply - sounds just like something the corner drug dealer would do

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) diagnoses have reached an all-time high, and the stimulant medication shortage continues to be a public health crisis. Despite this, few guidelines exist regarding who is qualified to diagnose adult ADHD or how to diagnose it properly. Although many providers lack confidence in their ability to assess ADHD in patients, others promote their alleged qualifications online, regardless of their level of training. Governing bodies are working to increase stimulant medication production, and patients are often forced to switch from one stimulant medication to another. To mitigate the impact of the stimulant shortage on patients with ADHD, concrete, better guidelines are necessary for evaluating ADHD in adulthood.

The internet is saturated with information that romanticizes stimulant medication, portraying it as a means to “enhance focus and boost success.”

Cocaine prices have fallen by nearly half to around $60 to $75 a gram compared with five years ago, said Morgan Godvin, a researcher with the community organization Drug Checking Los Angeles. “The price of pure cocaine has plummeted,” Godvin said.

I feel like it was $60 a gram when I was in college 30 years ago.

No way to know if it's safe. The street price is now $100/gr. I think I'll pass.
I can't stand coke just like the way it smells. 4

Im afraid yo try anything from around here in Oklahoma or from Texas. I only use it if my wife's uncle acquires some.

If it weren't for fentanyl and impure crap, and if I could trust it around here, I'd probably do it once a week.

Why is cocaine illegal?

Good question.

If you're someone that doesn't get addicted easily and can maintain only doing it (and acid) on occasion, I found both to be pretty enjoyable and relatively harmless.

The addictive properties of cocaine are through the roof though, and most people don't have the willpower to only try it here and there

shite it was $100/g all day back in the 80s. Drugs are the only commodity immune from inflation

the price isn't set by anything other than the risk of trafficking it.

narconomics is a good read on how the drug trade operates as a business.
