Couldn't be more wrong there, but whatever.
About what? That BOS is a shithole or that the NE metro corridor is unlikely?

It was good enough for companies like GE to establish their headquarters, at least.
GE is old news...got lured to BOS because it's day in Stamford was long gone and Mass native Jack Welch's bony hands still pull from the ever-receding perch built in his glory days...

Oh now it makes sense.

You live in the state people are forced to drive through to get to Vermont.

You're also probably high on opioids right now since it's past 10am.

You're forgiven.

Kentucky makes like zero sense, who cares if UPS HQ is there.

Because they coordinate with Amazon. And already have a major Amazon hub right across the river in Southern Indiana. It makes a lot of sense.

Charlotte makes the most sense. 7th busiest airport in the world can accommodate the influx of new residents. State and county would bend over backwards to give tax incentives.

there is no way on this earth that Northern Kentucky has the size/quality of educated workers has Northern Virginia or even Dallas. Not a chance in hell
No, but if given the centralized location within Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana it's actually more ideal spot than one might think. For example, the combined land area of those 3 states is about 116,000 sq miles, the combined population is about 22.7 million, and the combined college enrollment (as of 2014) was about 1.26 million. That's roughly 196 people and 10.8 college students per square mile.

Texas, on the other hand, has a land area of about 261,000 sq miles with a population of about 27.9 million, and the college enrollment (2014) was about 1.44 million. That's roughly 107 people and 5.5 college students per square mile.

And beyond that, here is the drive time in hours from Cincinnati (in hours) to other major cities:

Chicago--4.5
Indianapolis--2
Columbus--1.75
Louisville--1.5
Cleveland--3.75
Nashville--4
Pittsburgh--4.5
Detroit--4

Compare that to DFW's drive time to major cities in its region:

Houston--3.5
San Antonio--4.25
OKC--3.25
Austin--3

So if attracting talent is a key, in many ways the area has some advantages over in terms of access to college students and other metro areas.

Dallas companies have no problems recruiting from all over the country.

They can put it in the suburbs in Ft Mill, SC.

South Carolina has shown an ability to attract a few big names.

If only Louisiana had built that mega airport/cargo complex in White Castle.

Nah!!!!

Let's continue to have two smaller, shitty airports in BR and NO.

No doubt. I'm not arguing it's not a good location by any means. I'm just saying that Cincinnati (or my preference, Columbus) shouldn't be dismissed because their local metro areas are smaller (still over 2 million) because they are close to other metro areas.

I would guess Dallas has a big lead for this one.

It would make sense for it to be on the short list but I don't know why people think Dallas would have a big lead when there are a number of other locations that make sense (Charlotte, DC, Nashville, Columbus, Cincinnati, Atlanta, etc.).

Is this the thread where everyone suggests their own town?

If so Memphis should be it given the shipping infrastructure already paid for by FedEx.
