Just watched this dumbass on my Ring cam set the package on my doorstep, take a pic, pick the package back up and drive off with it.

And, yep website shows the package delivered with the pic he took of it before taking it back,

Reported to Amazon and I’ll get it replaced tomorrow, but it just amazes me what people do - when it really shouldn’t anymore.

Anyone else have an issue with Amazon drivers stealing?

Btw, the dude stole a $20 Halloween shirt. lol

Just the other night, I had driver deliver a package well after dark, take a picture, and the next morning it was gone. I though it was stolen. Got home after work and it was there.

I have no idea what they're doing sometimes but it often seems sketchy.

That doesn't add up. For real.

He knows theres a ring camera.

He has no way of knowing what's in the package.

If its just a shirt, its probably very light in weight.

Maybe he is trying to get fired OR he's on autopilot and didn't realize how retarded he was and will bring the package back once he realizes he picked it back up.

Had a UPS package delivered the other day (2pkgs)

The delivery photo was so blurry, the only thing recognizable was the delivery person's shoe. Not the box or the location. Useless

We were gone and our neighbor put in the garage.

With all these stories, you'd figure these dumbasses would at the very least check if the home has cameras lol

Doesn't matter. If it's something he can use, he keeps it. If he can't use it, he can pawn it or sell it to somebody who can use it.

I had a delivery driver steal over 5 grand in appliances a few years back. I had the forged BOL and disputed the charge. Chase still found in the company’s favor (it was their carrier) since they had photos of the “delivered” goods, which were conveniently taken inside a delivery truck.

Cop buddy of mine told me to file a police report, then he called the delivery company, got the driver’s info, and told them there would be an investigation. Lo and behold, Chase sends me a letter a few weeks later saying the company withdrew their challenge of my dispute. I still wish I knew all of what happened behind the scenes. Chase can suck a dick, by the way.

Amazon will take care of that with the quickness and that driver will be fired immediately.

Never had the steal anything, but I have had them get creative with where they leave the boxes to make sure they don't get stolen. They usually tuck them behind my boxwoods and/or columns; the other day had one move a large ceramic pumpkin and slip it behind that.

Either he's too dumb to notice this, or was banking on you being one of the houses that don't pay the $5-10/month for the storage.

This happened to me some years ago when I was living in in an apartment. There had been some package thefts in the apartment complex and neighborhood. He was basically looking out for me. He took the pic to cover his a$$ and prove that he had come to my door.
