Yup, dark stouts are the way to go or a nice porter.

Personally, I thought I was the only one out there with the gene that makes IPAs taste like dirty soap water. It seems there are others that rate IPAs at the bottom of their beer board.

I do spend money on IPAs though so I always have some in my beer fridge for those pretentious A-holes who like it. I would rather them drink that shite then my good beer.

If you like a good stout, try some Dragon's Milk. You can thank me later.

So you're such an a-hole that you have to spend money to get others to hang out with you? Even people that you think are pretentious assholes?

Idiot.

Not sure why 7 out of 10 taps at bars seem to be IPAs these days

Because breweries can make them quickly and they can therefore generate cash flow. Barrel aging takes a shitload of time, space, and is expensive. And new/young craft brewers need cash to continue operations.

Always keep an eye out for Ruination but never see it. Used to love Racer 5 but don't see that around either.

My go to West Coast IPAs now are Dogfish Head 60 Minute and Sierra Nevada Torpedo.

Tropicalia is a really good IPA that is almost universally liked here by beer drinkers.

Vienna Lager for $5 at my most frequented joint.

But if slummin I head to Bubba's out on the county line where I can get a draft PBR for $3 all day / night.

Get off your high horse and drink domestic, non-craft beers you stupid frick.

They are only 4-5 dollars a beer. Hell, you could probably get a pitcher of them for $12.

Honestly, I'm getting tired of the Maker's Mark being unavailable.

All alcohol is getting expensive and in short supply these days. Been happening for the last two years though, for all you who want to start wailing about the current inflation situation.

Georgetown Brewing Co, Bodizafa IPA is another favorite of mine.
As as a Georgetowner my favorite of theirs is Roger's. Infact, I'm sick of going to the store in general to get a Pilsner of any kind and every damn thing on the shelf is an IPA.

Actually was the beginning of the end of west coast IPAs. Now everything is New England style and while nothing wrong with this, I do miss a good west coast ipa that you really don’t see anymore.

Plenty in the Pac NW.

Ghost in the Machine and Dr. Juice by Parish are my favorites.

Both are 8-10$ at most restaurants I’ve been to lately.

Met some friends in Broussard last night.
Had 5 dr juice over 2.5 hours.
Got my check it was almost 50$ worth of beer,,,, I was like wtf? that’s almost 10 bucks per pint.

I’m about to go back to nattys or just stop drinking all together.
I don’t like them that much to get arse raped like that.
